Colored Mirror

Mirrors often get boiled down to Clear, Ultra Clear, and Antique Mirror. And we really do love our ultra clear mirror and our Antique Mirror is so sexy. But there is a whole other category of mirror that gets vastly overlooked – COLORED!

Our homes can become a lot of black, white, grey, and tans, but sometimes we need a little color. Colours bring in emotion and character to a room, and for the most part, get left out unless they’re being used as an accent or the whole room is one color. But there are ways of having fun with colors outside of hanging up some paintings or tossing a throw over the couch.

Bronze and Grey Mirror

For those of us looking for a little more dimension but still wanting to stay within a safety net, Bronze and Grey Mirror offer that subtle difference but has a big impact. They can be used in decorative Feature Walls, Wet Bars, or as Framing options for a clear mirror! Grey Smoked Glass and Bronze glass are also great for table tops instead of using ultra clear glass. You can use it to match your furniture, and it is also more forgiving towards pre-existing scratches in your wood.

Bronze Mirror was used in the photo below to simulate a sunset. Bronze mirror look s great also as a frame to a clear mirror. We also adore bronze mirror paired with sleek white painted back glass.  Time to get creative!

Green Mirror

How fun is this green mirror frame we made to go over an oversize mirror 84″ x 120″! It turned out to be a showpiece. Notice the details in the frame. The intentional addition of seams adds interest with a mitered edge. We think it came out gorgeous!

Colored Mirror

Seeing the world through “Rose Coloured Glasses” is not just a blatant expression for optimistic people. Rose glass and the rose mirror has been used for decades because everything looks so much better through it! Coloured mirrors add so much variety, and help incorporate colors in a completely different way. As mentioned above, these mirrors are great for decorative Feature Walls, Wet Bars, and as Framing for other mirrors. Various colors bring in different moods and can really help bring in that extra element that’s missing. It’s unique, and a definite eye catcher.

If you would like to see the different types of mirrors that we provide, please stop by our showroom! Pictures don’t do mirror much justice, but we have a variety including clear, ultra clear, antique, and the colors.
